Technology Architect – EBS HCM

Job Description

As an Oracle EBS HCM Technical Architect, you’ll be instrumental in providing impactful solutions to our clients & supporting existing solutions. Your focus will be on ongoing support of Oracle EBS HCM modules, specifically Core HR/ Payroll for the UK public sector.

Work location – Induction in London ( major work remotely) with travel based only on need max 2 or 3 days in a Month to Leeds

You’ll need a deep understanding of all Core HR, UK Payroll, Pension, and Absence processes, backed by practical experience with Oracle EBS Core HR / Payroll in the UK public sector. You’ll also lead client engagements, discussing integrations, transitioning from current system and reporting across relevant modules. A key part of your role is translating complex technical solutions into clear insights for diverse audiences, from technical teams to senior management. You’ll provide necessary support & guidance to existing solution.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support Oracle EBS HCM, specifically focusing on Core HR / Payroll for UK clients.
  • Demonstrate expert proficiency in all aspects of Core HR,UK Payroll, Pension, and Absence processes.
  • Apply hands-on experience in Oracle Global Payroll/Absence Cloud, particularly within the UK Public sector.
  • Lead the transition of ongoing system.
  • Utilize extensive knowledge of HCM technical tools, including HCM Data Loader (HDL), HCM Extract, BI reporting, Fast Formulas, Custom Forms, Performance Tuning.
  • Lead customer discussions pertaining to integrations, data migrations, and reports related to Core HR, Payroll and other relevant modules

Required:

  • Should have a minimum of 12+ years of experience in implementation & support of Oracle EBS HCM for Core HR and Payroll modules for UK
  • Candidate should be proficient in all the Core HR, UK Payroll.
  • Knowledgeable on HCM technical tools including HCM Data loader (HDL), HCM Extract, BI reporting, Fast Formulae, Custom Forms, Performance Tuning, Payroll batch loader.
  • Ability to communicate complex technology solutions to diverse teams namely, technical, business and management teams
  • Knowledge and Support of existing solutions.
  • Preparation of Status reports with RAG, highlighting risks and mitigations and maintaining RAID log

Preferred

  • Should be an excellent planner when it comes to perform release planning and other delivery planning.
  • Should have excellent problem-solving skills
  • Responsible for Coaching and mentoring team members with experience of managing 5+ team members
  • Experience with Lean / Agile development methodologies & ITIL Methodologies.
